According to the ministry, the program attracted representatives from numerous tourism accommodation businesses and facilities in Khanh Hoa province that meet standards for serving tourists.
The program highlighted that travel businesses are among the organizations directly affected by the digital transformation process, noting that digital technologies are gradually changing traditional business practices in areas ranging from market research and tour program design to customer management, sales and payment transactions, as well as customer services before, during and after travel.
The appropriate use of digital platforms was emphasized as helping businesses save time and improve management efficiency. It was also stated that these platforms enable businesses to reach customers more quickly, personalize products and improve the customer experience.
Digital Transformation Concerns All Tourism Stakeholders
Cung Quynh Anh, Deputy Director of the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said in a speech: “Digital transformation is not only a matter concerning management agencies or businesses’ investments in technology; it is a process that requires the coordinated participation of all stakeholders in the tourism sector. Establishing data connectivity and sharing among management agencies, businesses and service providers will contribute to creating a cohesive tourism ecosystem, thereby improving management efficiency and the quality of services provided to tourists.”
