According to a statement from the TAT, the event connected Thai tourism businesses with regional partners through business matching and consumer engagement, while showcasing new experiences for Vietnam’s young and higher-value travel segments.
TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool said in a statement about the event: “ITE HCMC provides TAT with an important platform to directly connect Thai tourism businesses with partners and travelers in one of our key short-haul markets. Vietnam’s young, experience-driven audience, proximity and expanding air connectivity create strong potential for higher-value travel. We are building partnerships that can turn this interest into sustainable travel demand while showcasing a more diverse Thailand through culture, wellness, sports, major events and emerging destinations.”
ITE HCMC 2026 welcomed more than 500 companies and brands, more than 30,000 visitors from over 40 countries, and more than 260 international buyers.
