Under the agreement, eligible passengers traveling with Star Alliance member airlines will continue to have access to premium lounge services at Incheon International Airport. The existing Asiana Airlines Business Lounge (West) in Terminal 1 will be converted into a Star Alliance lounge. The lounge is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2026, coinciding with Asiana Airlines’ departure from the alliance.
Incheon International Airport ranked as the world’s leading airport in terms of international passenger traffic during the first half of 2026. The new lounge will be Star Alliance’s seventh dedicated lounge worldwide, joining existing lounges at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, Los Angeles International Airport and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
“We Look Forward to Welcoming Passengers”
Star Alliance Vice President of Customer Experience Ambar Franco said at the signing ceremony: “Incheon International Airport is an important gateway for Star Alliance, with a large number of our member airlines operating there. Our partnership with IIAC reflects our shared commitment to consistently delivering a high-quality experience to customers. We are proud to open a Star Alliance lounge at one of the world’s leading airports and look forward to welcoming passengers of our member airlines here.”
