The ninth edition of the International MICE & Wedding Forum (IMWF) has officially begun at BAYOU Anda. Agency owners and decision-makers from 35 countries, attending as hosted buyers, are being accommodated under one roof for three days and three nights alongside exhibitors representing hotels, hotel groups, tourism organisations and destinations.
Having achieved its own record in both the number of exhibitors and geographical diversity, the forum provides a platform to explore new products, destination options and partnership opportunities for international MICE and destination wedding projects.
While conferences and panel discussions focus on the industry's current landscape, evolving expectations and future direction, business meetings bring upcoming projects to the forefront. Shared accommodation and evening programmes also allow participants to continue their discussions and strengthen professional relationships.
At the forum's opening press conference, key stakeholders shared their perspectives.

The forum's opening conference and panel discussions, held under the theme "From Classics to New Discoveries," will take place on 29 October. A full day of pre-scheduled, one-to-one B2B business meetings will follow on 30 October, with the closing gala taking place that evening. Participants will begin departing the region on 31 October.
