According to a statement from the airline, travel, holiday trips, and visits to family and friends are expected to increase during the National Day period. In response, Vietjet plans to add 82,000 seats across 400 additional flights between August 26 and September 5. The airline is expected to operate more than 4,400 flights during the period to meet rising demand.
Travel demand is expected to increase significantly during the National Day holiday, particularly on routes connecting major cities with popular tourist destinations. Vietjet has also assigned additional staff at airports as part of its preparations.
