Editorial Policy

The standards that govern how IMWF Insider selects, sources, labels and publishes its journalism.

1. Independence

Editorial decisions are made by the newsroom alone. Advertisers, sponsors and commercial partners have no say over what we cover or how. The editorial team and the advertising team work separately. The people responsible for the publication are listed on our masthead.

2. Sourcing

We name our sources. Stories based on news agencies, official statements, industry reports or other media carry their source in the text. Content based on company announcements or press releases is identified as such. Information we could not verify independently is presented as unverified.

3. Accuracy and Verification

Figures, dates and names are checked against primary documents wherever possible. We do not publish speculation, rumor or unverified social media claims as news. Where practical, significant claims about a company or person are put to them before publication.

4. Corrections

When we get something wrong we correct it promptly and transparently. How to report an error and how corrections are shown is set out in our Corrections Policy.

5. Sponsored Content and Advertising

Paid content is clearly labeled “Sponsored” or “Advertisement” and visually separated from editorial content. Sponsored articles are not written by the newsroom. Advertising options are described on our Advertise page.

6. Conflicts of Interest

Reporters and editors disclose any financial or personal interest in the subjects they cover. Travel, accommodation or hospitality provided by third parties for reporting purposes is disclosed in the story.

7. Use of AI Tools

Automated tools may assist with translation, transcription, summarizing and layout. Every story is reviewed by an editor before publication, and responsibility for the content rests with the editorial team listed on the masthead.

8. Images and Copyright

Images are used under license, with permission, or as permitted by applicable law, and are credited. Rights holders who believe their material has been used without permission can reach us at [email protected]. Copyright in our content is governed by our Terms of Use.

9. Reader Privacy

How we process personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies in the Cookie Policy.
