Vietnam to launch tourist train in September

According to VRC, the Co Do Hue Tourist Train, a new railway travel experience linking Hue and Phong Nha, will offer passengers a journey to discover Central Vietnam. The train's design is inspired by the cultural heritage of Central Vietnam.

The train will travel along a route of approximately 190 kilometres, passing through Hue, Vietnam's former imperial capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the My Trach region, known for its cultural figures; Dong Ha; the coastal city of Dong Hoi; and Phong Nha National Park, another UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Passengers will have access to photo areas at stations, souvenir shops, landscaped flower gardens, and railway-themed attractions. They will also have the opportunity to experience the culture, cuisine, and traditions of Central Vietnam.
