In a statement, Vietnam's Ministry of Tourism said invitations had been sent to tourism and travel agencies in the country to participate in the Meet Global MICE Congress, which is scheduled to take place in Moscow, the capital of Russia, on December 16-17, 2026. The congress, which has been held since 2023, was described as a dedicated MICE tourism event aimed at bringing together management agencies, organizations and businesses in the MICE tourism sector, event organizers, conference and exhibition organizers, and international partners.
The ministry emphasized that Vietnam sees the congress as an opportunity. The statement noted that the congress offers Vietnam-based tourism agencies, organizations and businesses an opportunity to explore the market, promote their products, connect with international partners and expand cooperation in the MICE tourism sector, particularly in the Russian Federation market.
