According to a statement from the metropolitan government, the government and the bureau are promoting the organization of MICE events, including international conferences, that provide opportunities to showcase Tokyo’s appeal both domestically and internationally and are expected to generate significant economic benefits. The international events scheduled to take place between 2027 and 2029 will cover the fields of medicine, technology and engineering.
AONS & ISNCC 2027, organized by the Asian Oncology Nursing Society and the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care; IGCS 2027, organized by the International Gynecologic Cancer Society; SIGGRAPH Asia 2027, organized by ACM SIGGRAPH; IEEE ITSC 2028, organized by the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society; ICSE 2029, organized by the International Conference on Software Engineering; and the APFSSH Congress 2029, organized by the Asia Pacific Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand, will be held in Tokyo.
