The agreement aims to expand air connectivity, strengthen digital marketing efforts, and increase the number of Indonesian visitors to Thailand. It also seeks to enhance tourism cooperation between the two countries and foster stronger regional connectivity within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Under the agreement with TransNusa Airlines, the two sides will collaborate on tourism fairs, promotional campaigns, digital content, and workshops. The partnership will also focus on strengthening air links between Indonesia and Thailand by enhancing the Jakarta-Bangkok and Bali-Phuket routes.
As part of its partnership with Traveloka, TAT will leverage the platform's digital reach, distribution network, and market insights to promote tourist destinations and travel experiences across Thailand. Traveloka is also expected to support TAT's Sustainable Tourism Goals by raising travel awareness, sharing consumer insights, planning marketing campaigns, and providing information on tourism policies, entry requirements, and safety measures.
