Regarded as one of Europe’s largest cultural and music festivals, Sziget Festival will take place on Óbuda Island in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, starting on August 11. According to a statement from the Hungarian Tourism Agency, the festival, which celebrates music, performing arts, and unlimited freedom, will run for six days. The agency said in a statement: “Sziget is much more than just a music festival; it is an escape from everyday life. Whether you come for the music, the energy, or the atmosphere, you will leave with memories you will never forget.”
Famous Names to Take the Stage
The festival’s lineup this year also features several well-known names. Rock band Bring Me The Horizon, renowned electronic dance music artist Skrillex, and indie music pioneers Twenty One Pilots will also perform at the festival. The festival lineup will also feature numerous performing artists.
