In a statement, the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) noted that the emirate recorded its strongest-ever first-half performance, hosting over 670,000 visitors in H1 2026. The statement also emphasized that, despite regional conflicts disrupting international travel flows, growth was sustained by strong domestic demand.
Phillipa Harrison, CEO of the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, commented: “The destination has demonstrated resilience even during a period that has impacted international travel across the region. This record-breaking first half highlights Ras Al Khaimah’s strength as a short-break destination. With new hotel openings and major projects progressing rapidly, the emirate is entering its next phase of growth with strong momentum.”
