Held under the theme “Everything You Need: Knowledge, Technology, Supply Chain and Networking,” HORECFEX Vietnam 2026 is taking place Aug. 20-21. The two-day event has attracted around 5,000 registrations, more than 40 detailed discussion sessions and approximately 100 booths featuring technology companies, product suppliers, equipment providers and solution providers serving the hotel, restaurant, resort and tourism sectors.
The event aims to serve as a forum for the hospitality and tourism industry, as well as a hub for knowledge, technology, supply chain solutions and business collaboration opportunities.
Business Competitiveness Is No Longer Defined Solely by Physical Infrastructure
Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, said at the opening ceremony that a business's competitiveness is no longer determined solely by its physical infrastructure. He noted that hundreds of operational decisions and systems shape the experience of every customer.
Sieu said the tourism industry has entered a new phase of development in which technology, innovation and human factors are closely interconnected within the same ecosystem, with the tourist experience at its center.
