Global Fintech Fest 2026 (GFF) began on September 8 at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, India. The event will run through September 11. GFF is regarded as the world’s largest annual gathering dedicated to fintech and the broader financial services ecosystem, with participation from more than 80 countries.
The event aims to bring together policymakers, regulators, central bankers, financial institutions, technology leaders, fintech entrepreneurs, investors, academics and thought leaders. GFF began as a virtual platform in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and later evolved into a hybrid format. In 2023, it evolved into a physical event held in Mumbai.
This year’s event will address agentic AI systems, autonomous software that can perceive goals and act independently without human intervention, as well as tokenization and quantum technologies.
