Couples have clearer intentions when choosing wedding venues

The Bridebook UK Weddings 2026 Report stated that the communication model of couples when choosing a wedding venue before marriage has changed. According to the report, couples are doing their homework on venues and reaching out with clear intentions. While requests for basic information are declining, requests from those wanting to see the venue have started to increase.

Two important factors play a role in this change in the communication model. Venues are sharing their prices and availability more clearly and transparently. Couples, meanwhile, are prioritizing venues that provide clear and accessible information.

Problems in Venue Communication

The report also addressed communication problems between couples and suppliers when choosing a venue. According to the report, the main causes of communication problems include venue suppliers failing to answer specific questions, sending brochures containing the same information that couples already have, providing overly long responses, reluctance to share actual pricing, and slow response times.
