According to a statement from the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, the meeting was organized to strengthen cooperation with the Russian tourism sector and promote Azerbaijan as an attractive travel destination in the Russian market. Participants discussed the country’s tourism potential, diverse travel experiences and opportunities for further cooperation with Russian travel agencies.
Around 50 leading travel agencies cooperating with FUN&SUN attended the event. The Azerbaijan Tourism Board’s Representative Office in Russia continues to develop partnerships with key representatives of the Russian travel industry and implement initiatives aimed at raising awareness of Azerbaijan and strengthening its position as a preferred travel destination.
